What does your coverage include?

For your wedding, you’ll get two talented photographers (that’s us!). We work as a team, shooting with a relaxed natural style. We like to slot in, just like family or friends there to help, documenting your day as it unfolds, giving direction where direction is needed. We work together to ensure there is always a photographer there to capture your special moments. One of us will start with the bride, and one will start with the groom before meeting up for the party at the ceremony!

The number of photos you get will, of course, depend on how long we’re photographing for you. For a wedding we generally provide between 400-600 high resolution photos, all professionally colour graded and edited. Our philosophy is quality over quantity, however we do make sure you get photos that tell the whole story of your day. Your photos will be sent to you within four weeks of your wedding on a custom USB made from sustainably grown timber.

What equipment do you use?

We shoot using a mixture of both digital and film photography. We use Canon 5dMarkiii digital cameras with professional L series Canon lenses. Our film photography is shot on medium format cameras, including a Mamia 645 and Meopta flexorette, and 35mm Canon film cameras. We choose to shoot both digital and film because we believe this is the best way to accurately present your day. Film photography gives a level of detail and vibrancy of colours that many digital cameras are unable to replicate. Using professional Canon digital cameras allows us to shoot with speed, so we never miss a thing. The best of both worlds results in the best photos, we reckon! 

Where are you located?

We've recently relocated from Sydney to Brisbane. But we're still regularly travelling to Sydney, Canberra, the Hunter Valley, Melbourne and Tasmania for work. Wherever your big day may be, in Australia or halfway around the world in Scotland, We’ll be there! Depending on where your wedding is however, a travel fee may need to be charged.

How much does coverage cost?

Our wedding packages range from a few hours to full day coverage. You get two of us, and we’ll make sure we get every moment from all the right angles as best we can. To ensure you’re getting the exact coverage that you’re after, we will chat to you about your needs and dreams for the day so we can put together a package just for your wedding. Depending on where your big day is we may need to charge a travel fee. SAY HEY and we can discuss exact details and an individual quote to best suit you.

Can we have an engagement shoot too?

Of course! We love getting to know our couples with an engagement shoot. It really allows us to find out more about what and who you love, your personalities and the style of day you’re planning for us to capture. If you’d like an engagement shoot, please SAY HEY and we can send you some price information with your wedding quote.

Will we get to meet you before the big day?

We always prefer to sit down over a cup of tea or a beer with you so we can find out more about you and you about us. This allows us to discuss creative ideas for your day, and you can ask us as many questions as you want. If we’re not in the same part of the world, we’d love to have a Skype or phone chat to say hello!

Do you offer wedding albums or prints?

Yes we do! There is nothing nicer than seeing your special memories in a physical book or print. We offer high quality stretched canvas prints, fine art prints using museum quality fine art paper and inks, and lay flat wedding albums. We offer wedding books completely handmade using either recycled matter, renewable fibres, or both. They are printed with HDR inks, which are rated to last 200+ years in dark storage, and deliver brilliant accurate colour. All of our books are printed using museum grade archival paper. That means you get all of your gorgeous memories in a museum-grade fine art piece! 

How long do we need for photos?

For the pre-ceremony portraits with your bridal party and family, we recommend at least an hour. For family photos post ceremony half an hour is usually enough. Then about an hour for post ceremony couple and bridal party photos. But don’t forget to allow for travel time in between! Some couples prefer that we’re there all day from start to finish, which allows you to relax and enjoy the day, us documenting each moment as it happens. If there are any special moments or celebrations you want captured, please let us know.

How do we book you for our wedding?

In order to secure us for your big day we require a deposit payment and signed contract - which we will send you when you decide on a package that suits your day. To start, SAY HEY!

Will you be in our face all day?

No, we promise! While we do give a little bit of direction for certain shots, especially where big groups are involved, we prefer to take a documentary approach to your photography. Your wedding day is exactly that - your day - so we want you to enjoy it all that you can, and we’ll capture those special moments as they happen. You know the little moments with your mum and bridesmaids before the ceremony, and the quiet minute with your new husband? We capture those, naturally and subtly.

Do we need to feed you at all?

By the time dinner rolls around we’ve probably been with you for the best part of the day. If we’re working longer than 5 hours we do ask that the venue provide us with two simple meals to keep us going, so we can capture the rest of the night with equal energy as when we started!

Do you do portrait and family photography?
